Chambers

Bespoke, contemporary design in the historic environment

Since 1994, we have refurbished numerous historic barristers’ chambers in Temple, Lincoln’s Inn and Gray’s Inn, and we have worked on chambers located in the nearby streets and squares around the Inns of Court, as well as a historic legal bookshop. We have also carried out works for the Honourable Society of Middle Temple, including works to the historic Middle Temple Main Hall.

Our reputation is based on an ability to bridge the gap between those members who want to modernise their premises and those who simply hate modern architecture. We bridge the gap by listening carefully to our clients and responding with an appropriate level of refined contemporary detailing and traditional craftsmanship using familiar materials in a fresh way.

These are the same design and negotiation skills that have enabled us to achieve some astounding planning approval successes for our clients, and that have enabled us to deliver our promise of quality in the finished product.
