Our invention of unique energy-flow diagrams makes it possible to easily comprehend how the house manages to avoid drawing peak energy from the national grid in summer and winter. Brambles is a pilot project that demonstrates features that will be essential if the UK and other countries with similar climates are to successfully transition to a 100% renewable energy grid.
The combined monitoring results of Brambles and Lark Rise were presented at the 2021 International Passive House Conference in Germany, where Lark Rise was awarded the Passive House Institute's International 25th anniversary Single Family House award.
