Another of our all-electric Passive House Plus family homes that is expected to have no energy costs over 12 months.
It is nearing completion as of April 2026 and has achieved a final air test result of 0.37 ACH @50pa, which is almost 2x better than the Passive House standard's requirement.
Built on a spacious plot that backs on to a small biodiverse woodland, the proposal is for an exemplary, energy-exporting Passive House Plus; a beautiful, solid, visionary 'forever' family home designed to support multi-generational family occupancy.
The elevations are made from handmade red English bricks set in lime mortar. The highly-insulated, thick, solid brick walls use the English bond favoured by modernist architects of the early-mid 20th century, drawing inspiration from the brick houses of Mies van der Rohe which feature streamlined horizontal lines.
