Nick Newman
Who we are
Nick was introduced to the practice in early 2010, whilst conducting a study for his diploma thesis. After having joined the team later in the year, he soon became involved with the research and analysis work of the practice, contributing to a number of studies on whole life costing and post occupancy analysis. Nick is the latest member of the team to sit the Certified European Passivhaus Designers exam and in November 2011 he successfully completed his RIBA Part III qualification through the University of Nottingham. His studies to date have focused on the integration of good design and sustainable construction and he is committed to achieving this goal in all of his projects. In December 2011 Nick became an Associate Director of bere:architects. Outside of the office Nick enjoys carpentry, cycling and running.
