Mark Martines
Who we are

Mark joined bere:architects having spent a couple of years, following graduation from The Bartlett School of Architecture, teaching at Central Saint Martins in London and working with educational organisations such as Open House and The Sorrell Foundation.
Starting his architectural career at Brighton University, Mark become increasingly interested in sustainable and ecological issues. In similar spirit he set up and runs a Capital Growth community food growing space for his apartment block and uses reclaimed materials to make furniture and various products around the house and for friends and family.
Mark is also a keen photographer and puts this skill to good use regularly in the office. He is a dedicated cyclist and aside from racing around the city he enjoys mountain biking and touring holidays in France.
