Bere:architects turned a derelict warehouse space into contemporary design studios. The spatial grid is defined by the historic structural brickwork piers that define the space. Bespoke furniture and fittings were designed and crafted for the project and the materials palette was influenced by the desire to hand craft every element.

A compact tree-top house situated on a sloping site on the edge of Highgate Cemetery is surrounded by a nature reserve and a tree-lined lane. The house takes its form from the sloping site. A gently twisting structure, the house opens up towards the winter sun. An overhanging roof canopy controls the summer heat gain.

Years of neglect and extensive dry rot had caused major damage to one of the largest and finest Grade II listed houses in Notting Hill in West London. The French classical interiors had been divided into flats, and in returning the building to a single double-fronted house, bere:architects recreated the splendour of the original interiors, demonstrating a real empathy for historic buildings.
